Follow Your Heart (Digital Dream – Instrumental) | Music Video

by Christopher Louie

As I open Winter Rhapsody Volume 3: Crystal Reverie, I wanted the very first note to transport listeners directly into the emotional universe that shaped this album. “Follow Your Heart (Digital Dream – Instrumental)” became the doorway into that world—a track built on the tension between emotional connection and the unresolved weight of past wounds.

This piece grew from a poem of mine that explores the confusion felt when someone you care for suddenly disappears from your life, leaving behind loose ends, unanswered questions, and promises that now feel hollow. Translating that emotional landscape into sound meant crafting an atmosphere that feels both intimate and otherworldly—like holding onto a memory that keeps slipping further away.

The “Digital Dream” subtitle reflects the sonic palette I leaned into: shimmering synths, subtle pulses, and drifting textures that blur the line between reality and nostalgia. It’s an invitation to wander through your own emotional memories as the music unfolds.

Crystal Reverie is the third chapter in my six-part Winter Rhapsody series, and this album feels like a turning point—an exploration of longing, fragility, and the quiet truths we often struggle to face. “Follow Your Heart” sets that tone, opening the door to the emotional odyssey that follows.

Let the music guide you.
