This Halloween, or rather today, I’m thrilled to announce the release of my new music video for “The Love of Jonathan Harker (Darkwave Mix)” — along with my haunting new 2-track EP, “The Love of Jonathan Harker.” Inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, this project transforms poetic storytelling into dark, cinematic soundscapes filled with melancholy, romance, and mystery. It’s a journey through the gothic heart of love and fear — where candlelight flickers, shadows whisper, and the line between beauty and horror begins to blur.
When I first wrote The Love of Jonathan Harker, it began as a Halloween poem — a haunting retelling of Jonathan Harker’s stay in Count Dracula’s castle. I wanted to reimagine his experience not just as horror, but as a dark romance — a descent into the unknown where fear and fascination intertwine. Turning that poem into music felt inevitable. I built the track with echoing cries, ghostly whispers, and cinematic sound design that blurs the line between music and atmosphere.
The EP, which releases October 30, 2025, features two versions:

02. The Love of Jonathan Harker (Darkwave Mix)
Each version offers a different lens into the story — one intimate and poetic, the other pulsing with darkwave energy that feels like a heartbeat beneath the fog. Both are designed to be experienced late at night, maybe by candlelight, when the veil between worlds feels thin.
The music video is a special Halloween edition and it is where the story truly comes alive. Focusing on cinematic lighting and gothic imagery — flickering candles, handwritten letters, and shadowed corridors — it mirrors the eerie beauty of the track. Every visual choice was intentional: to evoke not just Dracula’s castle, but the emotional isolation of Harker himself, caught between reason and the supernatural. It’s not horror for shock’s sake — it’s horror as poetry. The video is created with sound effects added in for a more dramatic effect.
For anyone who loves gothic poetry, dark cinematic music, Halloween soundtracks, or Dracula-inspired storytelling, this release is a love letter to you. It’s my way of saying that darkness can be beautiful — that even in the eerie and unknown, there is art, emotion, and connection.
