Before I started conceptualizing the music video for “Whispers Of Memories (Dream Mix)”, I already knew it needed to feel very different from the 2026 Edition. That version was brighter, faster, and full of light, so I wanted this one to be slower, calmer, and much more emotional.
To create that feeling, I decided that the entire video would take place at night under the light of the moon. Instead of bright daylight, the moonlight gives everything a quiet, peaceful, and slightly sad mood. The characters are shown in only two places: outside in dandelion fields beside the sea, where the open space adds to the feeling of loneliness and reflection, and inside a modern luxury home, where the quiet surroundings make the emotional moments feel even more personal.

My goal was for this video to feel like the complete opposite of the 2026 Edition—as if the two videos were mirror images of each other. Everything that was bright in the earlier version becomes dark here. Everything that felt hopeful and full of light is replaced with something more quiet, serious, and emotional.
That contrast is also reflected in what the characters wear. In the 2026 Edition, the characters were dressed in white to match the bright and uplifting atmosphere. In this version, both characters wear black from head to toe. The male character wears a black turtleneck sweater, black corduroy pants, and black shoes. The female character wears a simple black dress that resembles something someone might wear to a funeral. I think of it as a grieving dress because it helps express the sadness, loss, and emotional weight that this version of the video is meant to convey. Together, the nighttime setting, darker colors, and clothing all work to create a mood that is intentionally the complete opposite of the earlier video.
The field of dandelions is still one of the most important parts of this video because the dandelion is almost like a character of its own in the original poem and song. It is more than just part of the background—it carries meaning throughout the story.
In this version, I wanted to include more scenes of dandelion seeds floating through the air. To me, these seeds represent the male character’s thoughts, feelings, and messages traveling across great distances, over land and sea, in the hope that they will somehow reach the woman he lost. Even though they are apart, he continues trying to reach her in his heart and mind, just as the seeds drift wherever the wind carries them.
Many scenes show him by himself, quietly mourning the loss of the woman he loves. He is filled with regret and wishes he could change the past, but he has to live with the pain of her absence. His loneliness is an important part of the story, and I wanted the audience to feel that in the way the scenes are depicted.
Like in the previous video, the woman is often shown as a ghost-like figure. She appears partly see-through, making her seem as though she is no longer truly part of this world. Some scenes depict him reaching out to her or trying to get close to her, only for her to fade away and disappear before they can reconnect. This shows that she is beyond his reach, no matter how much he wants another chance.
One scene is especially important. She is standing directly behind him, trying to speak to him, but he never realizes she is there. This was done on purpose. It leaves the audience wondering whether she is literally a ghost following him, or whether she represents the memories he cannot escape. Either way, she continues to be a constant presence in his life, even though he can never truly be with her again.
When I started writing “Whispers Of Memories,“ I wanted it to tell the story of someone deeply missing a person who once meant everything to them but is no longer part of their life. The reason for that loss is left open to the reader. It could be because of a breakup, a divorce, or even death. I wanted the poem to be something that different people could relate to in their own way, depending on their own experiences.
Because of that idea, I felt this scene was important. The woman appears as a transparent, ghost-like figure, softly speaking to the man in a way that people often imagine a spirit might try to communicate with someone who is still alive. She is close enough to be seen, but not close enough to be reached. This creates the feeling that she is still with him in some way, even though he cannot truly be with her.

I deliberately avoided giving a clear answer about whether she is a real ghost or simply a visual representation of his memories. I wanted viewers to decide for themselves. Some may see her as someone who has passed away and is trying to comfort him one last time. Others may see her as the memory of someone who is still alive but no longer part of his life. Both interpretations are equally valid.
This uncertainty is an important part of the story. The man’s feelings of love, regret, and longing remain the same no matter why they are apart. By not revealing exactly what happened, the focus stays on the emotions rather than the cause of their separation, allowing more people to connect with the poem and the music video through their own personal experiences.
I also included several scenes of the male character either playing the guitar or driving alone at night to show just how lonely he feels after losing the woman he loves. Even when he is doing something as ordinary as this, he cannot stop thinking about her. No matter where he goes or what he is doing, she is always on his mind.
There is something quiet and personal about driving alone at night. With no one else around, he is left alone with his thoughts and memories. The peaceful roads and the darkness around him give him time to reflect on everything that has happened and on the life they once shared.
Although the drive itself is calm, his emotions are not. His eyes reveal the sadness and regret that he carries with him. He says nothing, yet his expression tells the audience everything they need to know. These scenes are meant to show that grief and longing do not disappear just because life goes on. Even during the simplest moments, the memory of someone you deeply love can remain with you, quietly filling your thoughts wherever you go.
The final scene shows the male character sitting alone in the dandelion field, quietly playing his guitar. Throughout the video, the guitar is more than just a musical instrument. It represents the connection between him and the woman he loves. Every song he plays is like a message from his heart, expressing the words and feelings that he can no longer say to her in person.
As the video comes to an end, he stands up, turns his back to the camera, and slowly walks away, leaving the guitar behind in the field. I wanted this moment to be quiet and thoughtful, giving the audience time to reflect on what it might mean.
There are two ways to interpret this ending. One possibility is that he has finally accepted that she is truly gone and understands that he cannot keep holding on to the past forever. By leaving the guitar behind, he is symbolically letting go of the pain and beginning the difficult journey of moving forward with his life.
The other possibility is that he is not saying goodbye at all. Instead, he may simply be leaving the guitar there for now, planning to return another day to continue playing the songs and messages he wishes he could send to her. In this interpretation, the guitar remains a symbol of hope, love, and a bond that he is not yet ready to leave behind.
I deliberately left the ending open to interpretation because I wanted each viewer to decide for themselves what happens next. Whether they see it as a moment of acceptance or a promise to return, both interpretations fit the story and the emotions that the music video is trying to express.

The music video takes a more poetic and emotional approach to telling the story. Instead of focusing on a clear sequence of events, it uses imagery, music, and atmosphere to express the feelings of love, loss, and remembrance. My goal was to create something that people would feel as much as they would understand.
The music itself has a warm lo-fi indie-pop style. It is filled with soft sounds, gentle melodies, and a calm atmosphere that gives the feeling of looking back on happy memories from long ago. Every part of the arrangement was chosen to help the listener slow down, reflect, and experience the comfort and sadness that often come with recalling treasured memories of the past.
I chose the title “Dream Mix” because of the soft, airy vocal sounds that can be heard throughout the song. These voices gently float above the music, creating the feeling that they are coming from somewhere far away, almost like hearing someone calling to you in a dream. When combined with the slow tempo and romantic melody, these vocals give the song a peaceful, dreamlike quality that blurs the line between memory and imagination.
This version of “Whispers Of Memories” was made to be relaxing as well as emotional. It is the kind of song you can listen to while spending a quiet evening by yourself, winding down after a busy day, thinking about someone you miss, studying, or simply enjoying a calm moment. Rather than demanding your attention, the music gently surrounds you and lets your thoughts wander.
The music video was created with the same idea in mind. Together, the music and visuals are meant to encourage the viewer to slow down, close their eyes if they wish, and let the sounds and images carry them into a dreamlike world. It is a place where love, memories, longing, and hope all exist together, allowing each person to connect with the story in their own way.
