In about two more weeks, on November 7, 2025, marks a milestone I’ve been quietly building toward within the last several months. That’s the official release date for the CD edition of my latest full-length album, Volume One (I Left You Before You Could Leave Me) Reimagined. Dropping a week before it on Halloween’s Eve October 31, which I’m proud to announce, is the release of my new 6-track EP for “Follow Your Heart”, a project that feels long overdue since its initial announcment almost a month ago.
This 6-track EP was first scheduled for release on October 12, but was later rescheduled to coincide with the album release this Friday, October 24. However, launching both on the same day risks overshadowing the album’s digital debut. From a strategic standpoint, I’ve opted to stagger the releases — allowing the album a full week to bask in the spotlight.
That is why, a week after the Volume 1 (Reimagined) album’s digital release, I’ll unveil four bonus club mixes of two killer reboot versions of “Follow Your Heart.” This not only builds on the song’s momentum, but also offers a perfect way to celebrate the digital album release and generate buzz for the upcoming CD launch with a set of fresh new remixes. It’s a perfect opportunity to re-energize listeners and give fans even more ways to experience and enjoy these standout tracks.
“Follow Your Heart” has started, like most of my music, as a poem—a raw, aching meditation on what it means to want connection in the shadow of past trauma. It is about trying to understand how someone could vanish without a word—how someone who once said they’d stay could leave like it meant nothing. That kind of abandonment opens up a rift inside you, and that poem became a way to navigate it.
The song (and now this EP) explores that fragile space between love and fear—the deep confusion when someone walks away, not because they don’t care, but because they’re scared. Scared of commitment. Scared of being hurt. Scared that what they feel is too real.
In the lyrics, I ask questions that many in the speaker’s shoes would want answers to. I hold up the promises they made like a mirror and wonder if they ever meant them. But underneath all that hurt is something more important—a plea. A request not just to return, but to rise. To choose growth. To choose trust.
This EP features two revamped versions of “Follow Your Heart”, a Reboot version and a second reworked version called Digital Dream, both of which are included in Volume 1 (Reimagined) album that comes out this friday, October 24. Each reboot version offers two distinct remixes: one infused with a nostalgic synthwave/‘80s flair (the Retro Mix), and the other a high-energy Club Mix crafted to bring the song’s emotional intensity to the dancefloor. These aren’t just remixes for the sake of it—they’re full-bodied reinterpretations of the story behind the song.

The “Digital Dream” version already has a music video live now on YouTube or watch the embedded video below.
I wanted the video to capture the electric, digital fragility of modern love—the way it can feel so close and so distant all at once. We live in a world of ghosting and “seen” receipts, where intimacy gets tangled in algorithms. But the emotional core? That’s timeless.
And on Halloween’s Eve, October 31, I’ll be premiering the official video for “Follow Your Heart (Reboot)” on my VEVO YouTube channel (YouTube @christopherlouievevo). This one has a different melody.
I know not everyone gets closure. That’s why I made this for everyone and anyone who’s experienced this journey before. This EP is me giving voice to the silence, giving rhythm to the ache, and—more than anything—urging anyone who is at a crossroads – deciding whether to pursue a love connection or to withdraw from it entirely due to fears that the past vicious cycle may repeat itself – to take a a leap of faith and follow their heart, even when it hurts. True love is rare and therefore is worth taking a chance on.
