I’m incredibly proud to introduce Volume One (I Left You Before You Could Leave Me) [Reimagined], a completely reworked and elevated version of my debut album that first released on January 24, 2025.
This reimagined collection was born from a desire to enhance the production value of every track and give each piece a richer, more immersive sound. I wanted to create an experience that truly brings listeners on a healing, emotional, and sonic journey — one that feels as authentic and raw as the poetry that inspired it.
The album features 15 tracks based on 10 of my original poems, newly reinterpreted with deeper emotion and a stronger sense of cohesion. Several fan favorites have been rebooted and given an entirely new sound never heard before, including:
“Follow Your Heart”
“Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder”
“I Underestimated How Important You Are In My Life”
“I Lost Myself For A While”
These songs were reworked to maintain a unified musical theme and atmosphere throughout the album. Many of these songs came from different genres, and without new melodies or sound treatments, they couldn’t truly coexist as one cohesive listening experience.
At the heart of this album remains the title track, “I Left You Before You Could Leave Me.” The main version was remixed for The Remixes album released in summer 2025, while the Alternate Version — the more vulnerable, introspective interpretation — hasn’t received as much attention since the debut album came out earlier this year. That’s why this reimagined collection brings it back in full force — with three entirely new versions of the Alternate Version, each one exploring a different emotional dimension of heartbreak, self-preservation, and acceptance.
Clocking in at 118 minutes, this album nearly maxes out an audio CD, offering a truly immersive, full-length journey that invites you to experience every nuance and emotion.
