Every project I create begins with a story — not necessarily mine, but one that reflects something true about love, loss, and the choices we make when the heart and mind disagree. My upcoming release, the “Follow Your Heart” single, explores that delicate space between holding on and letting go — and it’s set to arrive on October 12.
The single features two new songs:
-
Track 1 – Follow Your Heart (Reimagined)
-
Track 2 – Follow Your Heart (EDM Mix)
Despite the title, this isn’t a remix of the original “Follow Your Heart” from my debut album, Volume One (I Left You Before You Could Leave Me). It’s a true reimagining — two brand new tracks inspired by the same emotional world, offering a fresh interpretation of what it means to listen to your heart when logic tells you otherwise.
At its core, this single is about trust, faith, and the courage to choose love even when doubt creeps in. The poem that inspired it begins:
You said you never intend
to stop being my friend;
But you lied when you let our friendship end.
From there, the verses unfold like reflections on a love that could have been saved if only both hearts had stayed brave. Yet amid the heartbreak, there’s still a glimmer of hope:
Follow your heart and not your head
if your feelings for me aren’t dead.
If you still love me, then you should trust what I said.
These two tracks are among the most heartfelt pieces I’ve created so far. They blend romantic EDM textures with emotional pacing — not fast-moving, but beautifully measured to pull you in and make you feel every word. They’re tender and soulful — emotionally stirring songs meant to reach the part of you that still believes in love, even after heartbreak. If you’ve ever experienced a love this intense and a heartbreak this raw, have a box of tissues nearby when you press play. I recommend listening to both tracks back to back, without interruption — let them wash over you. They just might melt your heart.
I honestly can’t wait for everyone to hear them.
The “Follow Your Heart” single, arriving October 12, reimagines what it means to revisit a story — not to repeat it, but to evolve it. Each song captures a new mood, a new rhythm, and a new perspective on the timeless question: When everything feels uncertain, will you listen to your fear, or follow your heart?
