A Preview of “Dancing Under The Moonlight (Reimagined)” Ahead of New EP Release

A Glimpse Into “Dancing Under The Moonlight (Reimagined)”

When I first wrote “Dancing Under The Moonlight,” it was a poem—simple, vulnerable, and painted with the soft brushstrokes of shyness, longing, and unspoken connection. But as with many of my poems, it didn’t stay on the page. It became a song on my Volume One (I Left You Before You Could Leave Me) album released earlier this year, and even then, I knew the story wasn’t finished.

That’s why I’m excited to share the pre-release of a 90-second sample clip of my upcoming track, “Dancing Under The Moonlight (Reimagined).”

This reimagined version isn’t just a retelling—it’s a rebirth. The original track captured the quiet tension between two people too shy to meet each other’s eyes. But in this new version, I wanted to explore the dreamlike quality of what could have been: the embrace, the dance, the shared heartbeat beneath the large full moon.

Even more exciting—this reimagined piece is one of six tracks that will release together as a brand-new EP dropping this Friday, October 3. Each of the six tracks on the EP is based on the original version of the same name from Volume One (I Left You Before You Could Leave Me) album, but approached from a different angle. They are familiar, yet transformed—reworked with new textures, tones, and emotions to bring out different sides of the stories.

For me, this EP is about exploring how the same words and feelings can evolve when given new sonic landscapes. “Dancing Under The Moonlight (Reimagined)” is just one glimpse into that process.

The 90-second preview gives you a taste of the atmosphere, the heartbeat, and the longing at the center of the track—just enough to set the stage for what’s coming this Friday.

I can’t wait for you to hear this EP in full, and to experience how these six reimagined tracks breathe new life into Dancing Under The Moonlight.
