You Mean More To Me Than I Let On
Many times it may seem like I don’t care,
Makes you question if this is meant to be;
Just know that I’m very much aware,
of how important you are to me.
Although I know I don’t say it enough,
I may even seem distant to you;
I know talking to me can sometimes be tough,
and the feelings may seem one sided too.
But know that you are my everything,
You have been someone special from the start.
You are the reason I count my blessings,
although I keep all this within my heart.
I fear that if I reveal too much too soon,
that I could ruin what we both have now.
I want to make sure that we’re both in tune,
before making any promises or vows
There have been countless nights I’d stay awake,
thinking of you and planning for our future;
For you I will do whatever it takes,
to give you your happily ever after.
I love you so much and my world would crumble,
if I wake up one day to find that you’re gone.
Expressing my feelings is where I stumble;
You mean more to me than I let on.
