I’m Waiting For A Sign From You

I remember vividly,
the words you said to me,
and the details of that day.
How could I forget?
‘Twas the last time we met;
Those memories have been on replay.

I remember being happy,
when you confessed to me,
that you love me very much;
And it didn’t take long,
not sure what went wrong,
but since that day we’ve been out of touch.

It’s now been years,
I wish you were here,
to love me that way again.
Those times apart,
did bruise my heart,
but I know it’s not the end.

I miss you,
and I still love you,
more than you’ll ever know.
I wonder if you’re happy,
a life without me,
since that day you let me go.

Those memories,
of you and me,
I’ll hold onto them forever.
Should the stars align,
give me a sign,
if we can still be together.
