You Are My Twin Flame

PROLOGUE

The concept of Twin Flames refers to a profound soul connection between two individuals believed to be two halves of the same soul. Unlike soulmates, Twin Flames experience similar life challenges, fostering mutual growth. Their bond often faces trials, leading to separations characterized by a chaser and a runner dynamic. This poem expresses the intensity of this connection, highlighting shared experiences and emotional support. It reflects on the journey towards self-improvement and understanding, while acknowledging the pains of separation and a deep hope for reunion. The narrative emphasizes spiritual growth and the unique signs of Twin Flame relationships.

You Are My Twin Flame

When we first met, I couldn’t help but swoon;
It was like I had known you forever.
The feelings that I would discover soon
unmatched anything I felt for others.

What is this pull that draws me to you?
I just can’t get you out of my head.
During the day I would think about us two
and often dream of you when I go to bed.

When you are near, I can’t help but stare
and marvel at everything that you do.
The yearning for you when you’re not there
happens whenever I am not with you.

We’re often on the same wavelength as I could tell,
as most of our interests and goals did not contrast.
Interesting to learn how our lives are in parallel;
We share similar childhood traumas in our past.

Ever since we met, I kept seeing frequent signs
like butterflies and 11:11 on the clock,
and my intuitive abilities are now more refined;
I would finish your sentences when we talk.

The best thing of all, you have helped me grown.
Since meeting you, I’ve become a better person.
My path is more clear with a purpose better known;
You’ve helped turn me into my better version.

I have fun whenever you are around;
And you support and accept me for my pros and cons.
When I am sad, you would lift my frowns,
and would never judge me when I’m wrong.

But what we have isn’t all fun and games;
We did break up and are now in separation.
I’d quickly learn that we are twin flames
so much of our experiences mirror its definition.

There’s often a runner and a chaser
in many twin flame connections.
Since you left me, it would seem your nature
to often run away to avoid rejections.

I pray to God that he would bless
for us to reunite and bring this back on track.
Our love has been put through many tests
but something tells me that you’ll be back.
