This Friday, September 5th, I’m releasing something very close to me—a 3-track single that reimagines one of my most emotionally charged poems, “Something Up Your Sleeve.”
When I first wrote this piece, it was an exploration of distance, suspicion, and the painful unraveling of love. The words carried a heavy weight, but I knew they could live in more than one form. That’s why I decided to present it in three different sonic landscapes, each capturing a unique side of the story.
Track 1: Reimagined is where it all begins. This version is raw, stripped back, and intimate—letting the poetry breathe while amplifying the emotion behind every line. It’s the foundation, the heartbeat of this project.
Track 2: Symphonic Remix takes the same words and sets them inside a cinematic world. Strings, orchestral layers, and swelling arrangements transform the heartbreak into something epic and almost theatrical, like a film score for love lost.
Track 3: EDM Ambient Mix flips the energy completely—transforming suspicion and emotional chaos into a soothing flow of electronic beats. Instead of high-energy, fast-tempo rhythms, this version leans into a chill-out, almost meditative atmosphere. It’s immersive, spacious, and designed for unwinding—where the poetry drifts seamlessly into a soundscape meant for reflection and release.
This project represents my vision as both a poet and a music artist. Poetry is timeless, but music gives it new breath. By creating these three versions, I want to show how words can transcend genre, mood, and experience—yet still resonate with the same core of human emotion.
