Despite recognizing their shortcomings, the narrator insists that their bond with this “imperfect someone” creates a sense of perfection in the connection they share, showcasing a profound dedication to mutual growth and love.
I am far from perfect
but I will be perfect
for that imperfect someone
who is perfect for me.
I’m Far From Perfect But I’ll Be Perfect For You
I’m far from perfect as I have many flaws
But I’ll be perfect in every way that I could be
for that imperfect someone to whom I’m enthralled
who isn’t afraid to be just as perfect for me.
I’m selfish by nature, I’m always my priority;
But I will be generous and I have a lot to give
for that imperfect someone who is perfect for me
who I will always love and will never deceive.
I am usually quiet and I’m often reserved;
Everyone else’s problems are just a burden.
But I’ll pay attention to every single word
and always lend my ears to the right person.
I am no angel and I’m often a jerk
but I’ll be a saint in any way that I could be
for that imperfect someone who’d put in the work
to build and share a life with this imperfect me.
I am far from perfect and I have many faults
but I will be perfect in every way that I can be
for you who always remained in my thoughts,
‘cause you’re that imperfect someone
…who is perfect for me.
