With “I Wish I Could Share My Good News With You (Instrumental)”, I wanted to step into an emotional space that many people quietly carry: the longing to share a meaningful moment with someone who used to feel close. There’s a universal kind of loneliness that appears when a friendship fades, leaving behind unsent messages, unspoken updates, and the lingering habit of wishing that person could still be part of life’s milestones.
This track reflects that familiar sense of reaching for a connection that once offered comfort, laughter, and perspective. It captures what it feels like when a confidant is no longer within reach—when there’s no one to turn to with exciting news, hard questions, or random thoughts that would have once sparked a conversation lasting hours. Even without words, the music holds the emotional weight of those memories and the echo of companionship that still lives somewhere in the background.
At the same time, the piece leans into a gentle hopefulness. Many people hold on to the idea that certain bonds, even if quiet or distant, aren’t entirely gone. There’s a soft wish embedded in the experience: that one day, paths might cross again, and that important conversation might finally find its moment.
“I Wish I Could Share My Good News With You (Instrumental)” is a reflection on friendship, loss, and the optimism that some connections—no matter how much time passes—might still find their way back.
It serves as the lead track to my fourth instrumental album, Winter Rhapsody Volume 4: Aurora Nocturne, a project shaped around emotional landscapes that listeners from all walks of life can recognize within themselves.
