“Aún Te Amo” is a composition born from the heartache of loving someone burdened by the lingering shadows of past relationships. It tells the story of a soul who, with tenderness and empathy, confronts the painful truth that love alone cannot mend what remains unresolved. Written as a heartfelt letter penned in the quiet hours of the night, the piece revolves around the poignant phrase, “Aún te amo, pero tengo que dejarte ir” — “I still love you, but I have to let you go.”
Through this letter, the complexities of love unfold — the push and pull between devotion and self-preservation, the weight of timing, and the quiet courage it takes to choose healing over holding on. Though the love remains, the writer comes to understand that waiting endlessly is neither kind nor sustainable. With a heavy heart, he releases the one he loves, not out of resignation, but out of hope — that in parting, both may find the peace and wholeness they deserve.

In envisioning the music video, I was drawn to infuse it with a distinctly Spanish essence — a thread that would weave through every frame. What better embodiment of that spirit than Flamenco, an art form that pulses with passion, history, and storytelling? Inspired by my recent travels to Spain, I was deeply moved by how integral Flamenco is to the cultural heartbeat of the country — the raw emotion, the expressive footwork, and the eloquence of every glance and gesture.
The opening scene offers a fleeting glimpse of a majestic castle-like structure—an architectural gem reminiscent of Spain’s rich heritage. Such breathtaking beauty is woven throughout the country, especially in Andalusia, the very cradle where Flamenco was born.
I wanted the visuals to echo a love story: a man in the audience, spellbound by a Flamenco dancer whose beauty and presence captivate him completely. Yet behind her commanding performance lies a hidden sorrow — a past marked by trauma that keeps her heart at a guarded distance. Though she, too, feels the stirrings of love, her emotional scars make true connection feel perilous.
To capture her internal struggle, I interwove intimate moments into the video — scenes of her alone at night, caught in the quiet storm of fear, anxiety, and sorrow. She wrestles with the impossible choice before her: to spare herself further pain, she must let go of the one person who might have offered healing — even as it breaks both their hearts.

I felt it was important to include a few scenes showing the man writing a heartfelt letter to the woman he loves, alone in the middle of the night. These moments hint at the many restless nights he’s spent thinking about her, wrestling with his feelings. As he sits at his desk, memories of their first meeting come rushing back — a moment that changed everything.
They met at a Flamenco performance, and there was an instant connection. I wanted the video to capture that spark — the intense eye contact between them, him looking up at her on stage, mesmerized, and her gazing down at him as she raised her fans in both hands, mid-dance. It was a powerful, wordless exchange — one that set the tone for everything that followed.

As the story unfolds, I wanted to stay true to the poem and song lyrics, so there are scenes showing him quietly walking out of her show — a subtle but powerful way of showing that he’s made the difficult decision to let go. He realizes she needs time and space to heal, and that staying would only make things harder for both of them.
It’s clear he understands the imbalance in their relationship — that despite the deep feelings, she’s unable to fully open up or appreciate his love because of her own unresolved pain. By stepping away, he’s not giving up on the connection, but allowing her the room to face her past. The hope is that, with time, healing might make way for a stronger, more lasting love between them.
The decision to walk away isn’t an easy one, and I wanted to reflect that by showing him wandering the streets alone at night, often with his head down, lost in thought. To add a bit of drama and atmosphere, I included leaves swirling around him — a visual metaphor for the emotional storm he’s going through.

The original song was written in a bolero style, and with the flamenco influence in the visuals, including guitar in the sound felt like a natural fit. Since the guitar plays a key role throughout the track, I made sure to include a scene of a man strumming it to visually tie everything together.
Thanks so much for watching. I hope this gave you some insight into the creative process and the thought behind the music video. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes looks at upcoming projects — there’s more to come!
