It’s been a long time since I’ve created something entirely new—something born not from revisiting old memories or reimagining past work, but from a spark that insisted on being written. And today, I’m finally ready to announce a project that has quietly been beating in my heart for months.
On December 5, the first Friday of December, I’ll be releasing a brand-new 4-track EP titled The First Date.
This isn’t a remix.
Not a rework.
Not a reinterpretation of anything I’ve done before.
This is an entirely new story.
The EP unfolds in four chapters:
01. The First Date
02. The First Date (Destiny)
03. The First Date (Serendipity)
04. The First Date (Sweet Demise)
Each track captures a different emotional lens of that first meeting—the anticipation, the alignment, the cosmic pull, and the sweetness that felt like surrender. Together, these songs tell a single story and like my previous project, are meant to be listened to back to back as one long continuous track.
Where It All Began
The project started with a poem. It started with remembrance of a dusk: the sky painted in soft orange, traffic dripping slowly beneath the rain, and pulse tapping out a nervous rhythm against the steering wheel.
The protagonist glances at his watch, counting down the hours and minutes until they meet for the first time.
He sends a quick text explaining why he’s running late. She replies, “Don’t worry, drive safely.”
Gentle. Simple. Reassuring.
But somehow that small kindness sets the tone for everything that follows.
That night, with no fireworks or declarations, he finds something that feels like a twin flame.
And the poem—The First Date—becomes the seed from which this entire EP grows from.
The Heart of the EP
Each track retells the same moment, but through different emotional truths:
The lead track, The First Date, captures the sense that something greater was at play.
Destiny focuses on the unlikely chain of events that brought the couple face to face.
Serendipity follows that mystical familiarity—the feeling of déjà vu wrapped in stardust.
Sweet Demise is the surrender: realizing he was falling, willingly and completely.
This EP isn’t about romance in the traditional sense.
It’s about recognition.
About alignment.
About the rare instant when you meet someone who feels like they’ve been written into your story long before you ever arrived at that moment.
Releasing Soon
I’m unbelievably grateful to be sharing something new again—something that came from a raw, honest place.
The First Date – the full 4-track EP — releases December 5.
It will be available everywhere you stream music: Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music Unlimited, and more.
Thank you for allowing my poetry to live in your world—and for giving me a reason to keep creating from the heart.
