Over the past year, I’ve poured my energy into creating songs that don’t just tell stories, but embody emotions—songs that carry weight long after the music fades. My next release, “I Lost Myself For A While,” is especially personal to me as an artist, and I’m excited to finally share that it will be available everywhere next Friday, September 12, 2025 as a 2-track single.
This release captures two different interpretations of the same story. Track 1 is a reimagined version of the original piece—stripped back yet cinematic, designed to highlight the raw emotion of the lyrics and the vulnerability of realizing you’ve given too much of yourself away in love.The song first appeared on my debut album, Volume One (I Left You Before You Could Leave Me). It’s about compromise, sacrifice, and the haunting question of identity when passion begins to consume you.
Track 2 takes a different turn: an EDM Mix that transforms the song into an atmospheric journey. With pulsing beats, layered synths, and immersive textures, it mirrors the push and pull of obsession and release, offering listeners a completely new emotional lens.
For me, “I Lost Myself For A While” is more than just a single—it’s a reflection on what happens when we love so intensely that we forget ourselves, and the strength it takes to find our way back. By presenting it in two forms, I want to show that a single story can live in different worlds: intimate and vulnerable, yet also expansive and hypnotic.
I’m counting down the days until you can hear both tracks on September 12. Until then, I’ll be sharing short sample clips of both songs in the near future before its official release, along with updates, visuals, and behind-the-scenes glimpses to give you a taste of what’s coming.
